These Bakersfield Jobs Pay More than the National Average

Thinking of moving to Bakersfield?  Workers in 29 different occupations earn more in the Bakersfield area compared to the national average, according to an analysis of the latest official pay data for the nation’s 107 largest markets. 
 
For example, Registered Nurses earn 22.5% more in Bakersfield than the national average while Physician Assistants earn 23.4% more.  Environmental Engineers bring home 41.8% more, on average, than their counterparts across the country.  And Real Estate Sales Agents earn a whopping 87.1% more in Bakersfield compared with others at the national average.
